Potomac Valley Swimmer Sets National Age Group Record -
Janet Hu (CUBU) set
a NAG Record at the NAG Team Challenge Meet on November 1st at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center.
Her time of 25.76 in the 50Y Backstroke is a new record for the 11-12 age group.
The meet results are now posted. It was the second NAG record set at a PVS meet in two weeks! Also check out the USA Swimming article on How to be a Winning Parent. NOTE: One of the new 2009 rules passed at the USA Swimming Convention bans high-tech suits for 12&U competition. The new rule reads "Swimsuits worn for all 12 & under age group defined competition shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor past the knee". The rule becomes effective May 15, 2009.
