pvs Seeks Executive Director
Potomac Valley Swimming (PVS) is pleased to announce that we are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to join our organization as the Executive Director.
As the chief administrative and operational employee of PVS, the Executive Director will report to the General Chair and the Board of Directors. This pivotal role involves implementing board-approved policies, overseeing daily operations, coordinating staff and contractors, and providing essential support to our member clubs, coaches, athletes, and volunteers.
Key Details:
Position Type: Full-time, exempt, remote (requires residency in the DMV area).
Compensation: $75,000–$90,000, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: QSEHRA available.
Requirements: Significant evening, weekend, and travel commitments are expected.
The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience in nonprofit, sports administration, event management, or membership organizations. Familiarity with USA Swimming and competitive swimming is strongly preferred, along with strong skills in project management, financial coordination, and office technology.
