REPORT OF PVS NOMINATING COMMITTEE
APRIL 20, 2010

A Nominating Committee consisting of Jim Garner, John Hirschmann, and Linda Klopfenstein was established by the PVS Board of Directors at its January 2010 meeting.   The attached notice was posted to the PVS website on March 16, 2010   It addresses the positions to be elected by the House this year and therefore the positions for which nominees were sought.  One name which was received as a result of that notice has been put forth as a candidate for the position for which they agreed to seek election.

 
Accordingly the Nominating Committee currently intends to nominate the following individuals.

Board of Directors
Administrative Vice Chair  -- Paris Jacobs

Operations Vice Chair – Dave DiNardo (incumbent) and Brian Pawlowicz
Age Group Vice Chair – Manga Dalizu
Strategic Planning Chair -- Jim Thompson (incumbent)

Board of Review (in alphabetical order)
(five to be elected, at least one of whom must be an athlete.)
Janet Auger (incumbent)
Manga Dalizu (incumbent)

Wally Dicks (athlete) (incumbent)
Mark Eldridge (incumbent)
Peter Karl

 

All persons who are elected will be elected to serve a full two-year term from September 1, 2010 to August 31, 2012. 

 

The election for these positions will be at the annual PVS House of Delegates meeting to be held on May 19, 2010 at River Falls. Additional nominations will be accepted from the floor at that time, prior to the time elections are held.

 

Elections for the Coaches Rep and Athletes Rep to the Board will be held in July 2010.  Persons wishing to seek election to those positions may announce their intentions to do so at the House of Delegates meeting.
