Thank you for requesting a copy of the new USS safety video Let’s Talk Safety. The video is enclosed. It is divided into three sections for novice, intermediate and senior level athletes.

We encourage you to use the video as often as possible, showing it at camps, meetings, rec programs, summer leagues, etc.

Awards will be given to the five USS clubs that use the video in the most creative and effective way to promote safety. A contest application form is included with the video. The prizes will be Speedo gift certificates for items that will benefit the entire club - first place, $600; second place, $400; third place, $300; fourth place, $200; fifth place, $100. The deadline to submit your contest application form is December 31, 1998. Winners will be chosen in the Spring of 1999 by the USS Safety Education Committee.

Please return the evaluation form within ten days of your initial showing. The USS Safety Education Committee will use the information from the evaluation forms to plan future safety projects.
