The following attached files reflect the final preview list of Top 16 times prepared by USA Swimming. It is based on times loaded into the USA Swimming SWIMS database (as of October 22, 2005) for the period September 1, 2004 -- August 31, 2005.
Please review the atttached lists of PV swimmers who based on current information have achieved a Top16 time. Please note any omisions as well as any times which you believe have been erroneously included.. Please inform both PVS Top 16 Coordinator, Tyanna Ertter and John Hirschmann, of any revisions which you believe should be made to the list. When doing so, please make sure you include the athletes name, club, age at time of swim, event, distance, time achieved, meet name and location.
Please also note we can only make corrections for times from meets occuring within PVS's boundaries. Swims in other LSC's are the responsibility of that LSC's Top 16 Coordinator. However, if you know of swims that occurred in another LSC that should be reviewed or included, let us know and we will request that the appropriate LSC T-16 coordinator to review the matter.
Only times eligible for Top 16 consideration should be submitted.
Swims occurring in observed meets (e. g., high school meets) are eligible for Top 16 recognition if the swimmer was a member of USA Swimming at the time of the swim. However, the swimmer will be shown as swimming UNAT since they were not representing their club team at the meet.
IMPORTANT: The USA Swimming lists are current as of October 22 -- the PVS lists have NOT been updated since September 1. Please make sure the USA Swimming list as of October 22 list is accurate -- that list will be used by USA Swimming staff to finalize the Top 16 list on November 1.
Different lists are being provided this year.
The Top 16 lists for relays now includes as a single age category, 15-18 year old relay teams. Separate listings for 15-16 and 17-18 year old relays have been discontinued based on legislation approved at the USAS Convention..
This is the FINAL review. You must complete your review by 9:00AM Monday, October 31.
