POTOMAC VALLEY SWIMMING
OUTSTANDING ATHLETE
2005 - 2006

This annual award is presented to those athletes in each age group (10 & Under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18 and Open) who are selected by the coaches as the outstanding athlete.

This award is based solely on the swimming achievements of the athletes from September 1, 2005 through August 31, 2006. A committee compiles a nomination list from which the coaches make their selections.

    Criteria for consideration are:
  1. ZONE TEAM MEMBER: MEET, EVENT AND PLACE
  2. TOP 16 RANKING: EVENT AND PLACE
  3. SHORT COURSE USA SWIMMING SPEEDO CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES: EVENT AND PLACE
  4. LONG COURSE USA SWIMMING SPEEDO CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES: EVENT AND PLACE
  5. LONG COURSE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP: EVENT AND PLACE
  6. PVS RECORDS SET
  7. USA SWIMMING RECORDS SET
  8. NATIONAL TEAM MEMBER: MEET, EVENT AND PLACE
  9. OLYMPIC TRIALS: EVENT AND PLACE
  10. NATIONAL/WORLD RANKINGS

A PVS Coach member, or other PVS member may submit nominations for this award.. Complete the Nomination Form and submit by:
