Membership of PVS consists of the following categories:
ATHLETE MEMBER: a registered, USA Swimming and PVS dues paying individual who competes in the sport of swimming.
COACH MEMBER: an individual who has satisfactorily completed all safety and other training required by USA Swimming and who is in good standing as an individual member of PVS and USA Swimming. Any individual desiring to act in any coaching capacity at any competition sanctioned by USA Swimming must be a Coach Member.
ACTIVE INDIVIDUAL MEMBER: an individual, other than a coach or athlete member, who is in good standing as an individual member of PVS and USA Swimming. This individual may be a trainer, manager, official, Board Member, At-Large House of Delegates Member, officer, coordinator or committee chairman or committee member of PVS.
GROUP MEMBER: an organization operating in the LSC which has, upon application, been granted membership in USA Swimming and PVS and paid the fees established by USA Swimming and PVS. Group Members include Clubs, which have athletes and coaches and participate in the sport of swimming, and Affiliated Group Members, which is an organization that supports the sport of swimming but which does not have Athlete and Coach Members that are all individual members of USA Swimming and PVS.
