To All House of Delegate Representatives:

The PVS Board of Directors, at its June 12^th meeting, called a special meeting of the PVS House of Delegates for Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at 6:30 pm. Both the out-going General Chairman, Jim Garner, and in-coming General Chairman, Greg York, fully support the calling of this meeting.  The meeting will be conducted at the McLean Community Center.  The stated purpose of the meeting is to continue discussions regarding whether the PVS Board of Directors should authorize the hiring of an Executive Director.  The Board of Directors will have a scheduled meeting following the House of Delegates meeting. The agenda will include an opportunity for the Board to decide whether it wishes to establish the Executive Director position and, if so, whether to authorize the General Chair and the Compensation Committee to execute a contract with the selected candidate.

The Board of Directors wants to ensure that all members of the association have the opportunity to provide their input and to voice their views regarding this issue.  Delegates and other interested members should feel free to contact current Board members as well as newly elected Board members prior to the meetings to voice their views.
