Dan Jacobs was elected as the PVS Coach Representative to the PVS Board of Directors for the term of September 1, 2007 to August 31, 2009.  Congratulations!

Nominations are now being accepted for the election to the PVS Board of Directors as a PVS Coach Representative. The term of office is September 1, 2007 to August 31, 2009.

Dan Jacobs (incumbent) and Jon Rogers have announced their intentions to run.

Any other coaches wishing to run for this position should contact Mark Faherty and Jim Garner by NOON on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at fahertyswim@yahoo.com and garner@garnerjim.net.

Mark (as the Coaches Rep whose term is not expiring) is responsible for conducting this election. Elections will be held at three of the upcoming meets in July:

  • PVS Senior LCM Championship Meet at University of Maryland on Friday, July 13th and Sunday, July 15th from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
  • PVS Junior Long Course Championship Meet on Friday July 13th and Sunday July 15th from 12:00pm to 1:30 pm

  • PVS Age Group Championship Meet at George Mason University on Friday, July 20 and Sunday, July 22 from 7:15 AM to 8:45 AM.

All coaches whose registration as a coach is in good standing with PVS as of July 6, 2007 are eligible to participate in this election.
