Article 303 ELIGIBILITY, 302.2 Membership

Purpose: For the Registration Year 1997, the Outreach Committee recommended and the Board of Directors approved the establishment of a pilot project to register qualifying athlete members at a reduced fee. The Registration Committee worked with the Outreach Committee to implement this pilot in selected LSCs. Based on the results of this program, the project was expanded to include all LSCs for the Registration Year 1998. The Board of Directors has approved making the Outreach category of membership permanent. The approval included a stipulation that LSCs not charge an LSC fee for this category.

302.2 Membership – Athlete membership will consist of either an annual membership, an outreach membership, or a seasonal membership.
