102.15 RECALL STARTER -- A Recall Starter may be assigned to immediately discharge a recall sound device (a) if automatic equipment is not properly functioning on the starting signal, or (b) if a false start has been observed, and (c) to assist the Starter in any desired manner. The position of the Recall Starter and the type of signal to be used for the recall shall be made known to the swimmers. He/she may also be assigned to assist the starter in any desired manner. A Recall Starter shall be mandatory in USS Championships.
