Procedures for Saturday's 1650Y Freestyle:

We will move swimmers into faster heats to
fill empty lanes (if the swimmer is willing). This will be done by
asking the fastest swimmer in the next heat that is present, and working
on down through the next fastest swimmers until all empty lanes are filled. To permit this:
-
Swimmers in Heats 1 and 2 (both Men and Women) should arrive at the start of warm
ups (7:00 AM) and check in.

Swimmers in Heat 3 (both Men and Women)
should arrive by 8:00 AM and
check in.

Swimmers in Heat 4 (both Men and Women)
should arrive by 9:00 AM and
check in.
-
Swimmers in Heat 5 (both Men and Women)
should arrive by 9:30 AM and
check in.

If you arrive after 9:30 AM you may not be
able to swim. If this poses a problem for you please contact the
meet director promptly..

Limited warm up space will be available in
the North pool until 11:00 AM.

Based on past experience, we expect to eliminate Heat 5 for both the Men and Women. This means we will start the last heat of Women at 9:49 AM and of Men at
10:13 AM. Of course this is totally dependent on
how many swimmers check in.
