Former PVS Swimmer Killed In Iraq
Former Potomac Valley swimmer, Jessica Ellis
was killed in Iraq on May 11, 2008. CPL Ellis was serving
with the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army at the
time of her death. She was buried at Arlington National
Cemetery on June 17th.
Jessica was a member of the Victor Swim Club before her family moved from the area in the late 1990s. PVS extends its condolences to the Ellis family, who currently reside in Oregon.
Her father, Steve Ellis, was a very active official in PVS for many years while his children swam here.
