A mandatory meeting for the zone team participants will be held at Oakton High School in Virginia, Sunday, March 25, 2007 at 6:00pm. The address is 2900 Sutton Road, Vienna, VA 22181. We will be meeting in the cafeteria. It is located directly inside the doors that are in front of you when you drive onto the campus. The cafeteria is on the right just inside the doors.
You must bring a check made payable to Potomac Valley Swimming in the amount of $400.00 . NO SWIMMER WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE BUS WITHOUT FULL PAYMENT.
Apparel will be handed out at the meeting.
Volunteer to Time / Officiate
We MUST provide at least 2 timers per session. If you are planning on attending the meet and can time please let me know. The LSC could be fined if we are not able to provide these timers. If you would like to help us out by timing please email me and let me know which day/ session you would like to time.
Officiating We MUST provide at least 1 official per session. If you are planning on working this meet please contact me asap. This meet will be run as a National Certification Meet. Officials must work at least 3 sessions and attend the Officials Meeting one hour before each session in order to obtain or renew their National Certification.
If you plan on officiating please email me and download the page available on the PVS website under the zones information and send it in. As soon as you do so, please let me know.
General InformationPVS Hotel Information
Coaches phone numbers will be given out at the meeting.
Rooming assignments will be determined by coaches. In most cases we try and mix swimmers from different teams together. We want swimmers to meet each other and make new friends.
Departure / Arrival Time We will depart from Oakmarr Rec. Center in Oakton, VA at 6:00am, Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Directions to Oakmarr Rec. Center can be located on the PVS Website under driving instructions.
We will arrive back between 6:00- 7:00am Sunday, April 1, 2007. We will depart the pool at the conclusion of finals, have dinner and get on the road home.
PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE IN DROPPING YOUR CHILD OR PICKING OUR CHILD UP!!!
