Eligibility Open to the invited Potomac Valley Swimming Registered athletes.
NOTE: 11&O events are open to all swimmers not on any public or private high school teams.
Number of Events: Participants may enter maximum of 4 events per session.
Warning Any club that enters an unregistered or improperly Registered athlete, falsifies an entry in any way, or permits An unregistered coach to represent them, will be fined the Sum of $100.00 and no further entries will be accepted from that club until the said fine has been paid. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ATHLETES ARE REGISTERED FOR 2005 BEFORE ENTERING THEM
Rules Current USA Swimming rules shall govern the meet. A contestant may compete in a maximum of 4 events per session. All events are timed finals. Deck late entries are permitted. $10 per event. Deck entry will close at 12:40pm.
Inclusion Policy for Swimmers with a Disability PVS and the host clubs along with their Meet Directors are committed to the Inclusion Policy as adopted by the BOD. Athletes with a disability are welcome and are asked to provide advanced notice of desire accommodations to the Meet Director and PVS Senior Chairman Don Riedlinger at drieddlin@erols.com). The athlete (or the coach) is also responsible for notifying the session referee of any disability prior to the competition.
Positive check-in Positive check-in is required for all 200 yards events And 500 free. Positive check-in will close at 12:40pmNOTE: * The 500 events are limited to the fastest 20 entries, 2 heats of each sex per session.
Supervision Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers.
Deck Access Parents not working the meet as a deck official, Volunteer lane timer, or other meet position are not permitted on the pool deck. Only athletes, USA Swimming certified coaches & officials are required to display their current USA Swimming card.
Deck Entry Fee $10.00 per event. Deck entry will close at 12:40pm
Admission There is no admission charge
Programs $1.50 per program.
Fees Fee for individual events are $3.50

  1. Club E-mail entries will be accepted provided the transmission time is prior to entry deadline

  3. Attach one report by event, one by name (save as Word for Windows in Team Manager)
  4. Attach commlink file
  5. In body of e-mail give total number of splashes (men and women total entry) and contact information (name, phone, e-mail address)

  8. Meet Directors are requested to acknowledge receipt by return e-mail within 24 hours. Clubs submitting entries that do NOT receive an acknowledgement should contact the Meet Director by other than e-mail to confirm receipt

Deadline Entries are due to Coach Bob Hardy no later than
5:00pm Sunday January 8, 2006

Important: The above date is the deadline for clubs to submit their entries to the Meet Director. Therefore, clubs usually set an earlier deadline to receive entries from their swimmers. Check with your club for this information.
