Order of Events for Meet

Zone Team selection for the 14 and Unders will be at the conclusion of PVS 14 & Under Junior Olympic Championship Meet, March 19, 2006. 

Zone Team selection for the 15 and Over will be at the conclusion of PVS Senior Championship Meet, March 12, 2006.

Applications should be submitted by February 28, 2006. All times for consideration are based on the period 9/01/05 - 03/19/06 for 14/U swimmers and 9/01/05-03/12/06 for 15-18 year old swimmers. (Times from Time Trials are not eligible.) Applicants selected for the team will be notified immediately thereafter.

Best top 10 times are by age-group and event and are currently based on times for the period 09/01/05-3/5/06.  This list will continue to be updated periodically until the team selection process is completed.  Ages are as of March 30, 2006; the first day of the Eastern Zone Spring SC meet. Athletes are ineligible for consideration if they have participated in a USA Swimming National Championship meet or USA Junior Championship meet or the US Open meet and are excluded from these lists. Additionally, except for 12/U athletes, swimmers who have a qualifying time for the US Open, 2006 Speedo Junior Championship meet or the 2006 18&U Time Standards for the US Spring Championship meet may not participate in that event at the Zone meet.  Accordingly, a swimmer having any of these times is NOT included in these Top 10 lists for 13-14 and 15-18 year old swimmers for any event.

All times received to date appear in "Top 10 Preliminary Best Times" reports. All subsequent PVS meets will be automatically loaded, including initial relay leg swims, if properly loaded in the data base provided to PVS. Teams participating in meets in other LSC's should promptly submit an electronic file of the meet results to the PVS Database Coordinator for inclusion in subsequent updates.

Times from observed swims will only be added to the data base upon request. Please notify the PVS Zone Database Coordinator  For the time to be included, the meet must have been officially observed by USA Swimming and the time submitted can be verified as swum in accordance with USA Swimming rules.
